HEAVY WEIGHT SHEEP LEATHER SHIRT COLLAR JACKET JJ-5B LINED
A shirt collar leather jacket featuring a compact silhouette and distinctive three-dimensional pocket design.
The large patch pockets are constructed with volume, adding depth and character to the front design. The orange finish created through the piece-dyeing process develops rich shades and an expressive surface, revealing the unique character of the leather.
The compact length creates a lightweight and dynamic impression while maintaining the substantial presence of the heavy-weight sheep leather.
Materials & Craftsmanship
This garment is made from vegetable-tanned sheep leather with a thickness of approximately 0.9–1.0 mm. The leather is first oiled to prepare it for dyeing. After the garment has been sewn, additional oil is applied during the piece-dyeing process in a rotating drum.
The substantial weight of the leather provides a distinctive presence, while maintaining the softness and flexibility characteristic of sheep leather.
After piece dyeing, the garment is left to dry naturally over an extended period. During this stage, its shape and dimensions are carefully adjusted by hand.
Once completely dry, the leather is oiled again and polished to enhance its texture and character.
All of these processes are carried out in-house and by hand.
