A tote combining Raggrinzato horse butt leather with 1950s vintage linen. Rather than adding color through the final process, the completed bag is treated in the drum without color dye, allowing the original tones and character of both materials to remain clearly visible.As the finished bag is rotated in the drum, the leather and linen develop a more relaxed, naturally worn-in surface. Without a layer of color over the materials, the differences in texture, tone, and age between the substantial horse butt leather and vintage linen become an essential part of the bag’s expression.

Materials & Craftsmanship　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　This bag combines vegetable-tanned Raggrinzato horse butt leather with 1950s vintage linen.Horse butt is taken from the dense fibrous area of the horse’s hindquarters and is characterized by its firmness, durability, and substantial thickness. In the Raggrinzato finish, the leather’s natural wrinkles and grain are emphasized, creating a richly textured surface with pronounced depth and character.For this model, no color dye is added during the final drum process. The completed bag is treated with the other finishing agents used in the process and rotated in the drum, allowing the original colors of the leather and linen to remain visible while developing a softer, more naturally worn-in surface.The vintage linen has a dry texture and natural irregularity developed over many years. Because of its age and original character, differences in tone, weave, and surface may vary from piece to piece.After the process, the bag is left to dry naturally over an extended period and finished by hand to bring out the texture and individual character of both materials.All finishing processes are carried out in-house and by hand.
