Crafted from 1.8–2.0 mm vegetable-tanned horse leather, each pair is made using leather that has been infused with oil specifically for the garment-dyeing process.

After the upper is carefully stitched, each pair undergoes the garment-dyeing process before being individually hand-finished by skilled artisans. The shoes are then left to dry naturally over an extended period, during which the leather is carefully shaped by hand. Once fully dried, the leather is replenished with oil and meticulously polished, enhancing its depth, texture, and natural character.

The shoes are constructed using the traditional McKay construction, an Italian shoemaking method valued for its lightweight feel, flexibility, and close-to-the-foot comfort. As the leather gradually softens and molds to the wearer over time, each pair develops a unique character, becoming a truly personal companion.
