A sandal made from grey-dyed Raggrinzato horse butt leather, bringing a substantial and highly expressive character to the open construction.
The dense fiber structure and thickness of horse butt give the upper a pronounced sense of weight and presence. At the same time, the open design creates contrast with the substantial leather, allowing its texture, wrinkles, and grain to become a defining part of the model.
Unlike the piece-dyed models, this version is constructed from horse butt leather that has already been dyed grey. The washed finish further develops the natural irregularities and depth of the surface, giving each pair its own distinctive expression.

Materials & Craftsmanship
This footwear is made from vegetable-tanned Raggrinzato horse butt leather.
Horse butt is taken from the dense fibrous area of the horse’s hindquarters and is characterized by its firmness, durability, and substantial thickness. In the Raggrinzato finish, the leather’s natural wrinkles and grain are emphasized, creating a richly textured surface with pronounced depth and character.
For this model, the leather is dyed grey before construction rather than piece-dyed after the shoes are assembled. After construction, the footwear undergoes a washing process that further enhances the texture and natural variations of the leather.
Because the grain, wrinkles, and surface character vary naturally from hide to hide, each pair develops a different expression.
All finishing processes are carried out in-house and by hand.
