Inspired by American work boots and military footwear, the WA-2 reinterprets these classic styles through incarnation's distinctive design approach.

Material, Manufacturing Process and Special Treatment

Crafted from 1.3–1.5 mm vegetable-tanned horse leather, the leather is treated with oil to prepare it for dyeing. After sewing, each pair is piece-dyed by hand, followed by a prolonged natural drying process during which the dimensions are carefully adjusted by hand. Once completely dry, the leather is oiled and finished by hand. All these processes are carried out in-house by hand.

The dark brown suede combines a textured, napped surface with subtle variations in tone from the dyeing process, creating a rich, layered appearance.

Design and Details

The WA-2 retains the rugged character of traditional work and military boots while introducing a more streamlined shape from the toe through the instep. Laces wrapped around the upper shaft add a distinctive detail.

The lace-up construction allows the fit to be adjusted around the instep and ankle. Two sets of laces are included, offering different styling options.

The leather sole is attached using Blake stitching, with a pronounced sole edge and stacked heel reinforcing the boot's substantial character.

With wear, the leather gradually adapts to the foot, while the suede develops subtle changes in texture and tone, giving each pair its own individual character.
